March 18 Diversity Panel Discussion

OHSU's recent Diversity Lunch Voucher Program provoked a lot of conversations and variety of viewpoints. Our Local 328 Executive Board saw this as an opportunity to sponsor further conversations among our membership to: Learn more from one another about how we understand diversity Understand how our members might want to incorporate diversity into the Local's Mission and Values, spur creative ideas on how the Local might incorporate those values into our work On Thursday March 18, 2010, from 11:30am -12:30pm in the Old Library Auditorium we will be hosting this panel discussion, facilitated by Kevin Boyle. EVS Members Have Had Their Contract Violated

We learned that EVS, housekeeping staff, were being required to be available by pager during rest and meal breaks without compensation. This is a violation of Articles 7.5 and 7.6.
