AFSCME Local 328 established the CDC for AFSCME members in 2002 with both Federal and State Workforce Grants. Continued funding for the CDC comes from OHSU HR through our Union Contract.
The CDC, now the LMCC, provides career coaching and planning services, classes and individual tutorials that assist union members in gaining skills necessary to advance in their careers at OHSU, plus a variety of programs for English Language Learners. Go to www.afcsmelocal328.com where you will see the Training/Career Development & Union Education button on the left, or contact LMCC Coordinator Catherine Jessup, jessupc@ohsu.edu, 503-418-0211.
Please refer to CDC/LMCC FY 2009/2010 for details about the Center.
